Voronezh Institute of High Technologies

Voronezh Institute of High Technologies (VIHT), founded in 1992, is an independent non-profit educational organization of higher professional education. It is a dynamically developing educational and scientific center of Voronezh and the Black Soil region.
VIHT provides a wide range of educational and scientific research activities.

The structure of the Institute consists of 4 departments: Department of International Technologies, Department of Management and Service, Department of secondary professional education, Department of full-time and post-graduate studies, International educational center,

Pre-university training and business development center, Center of innovative and distance technologies, Business incubator, and Career development center.

VIHT is a multidisciplinary and multilevel educational institution providing fundamental and professional training of high-skilled specialists.

According to the Ministry of Education and Science of The Russian Federation official ratings of non-governmental higher educational institutions VIHT is annually ranked among the top 20.

VIHT is a member of network of partners, working on programs and projects sponsored by European Union.

VIHT has joint scientific research projects with partner-institutions of Voronezh and Voronezh Region.

Information about VHT is included into the reference book of research and information works: "The best companies of the Voronezh Region-2007" and "The best companies of the Voronezh Region-2009".

In 2008 VIHT joined the Federal Register "All-Russian Book of Honor".

VIHT was awarded diplomas in the following competitions:

• The All-Russian review competition of students` research and technology creativity "Evrica",
• Social prize "Serebryani golub" in the Education category-
• Programming contest between student teams of the Southern Region of Russia (Saratov).

In 2009 VIHT won the open tender of Federal Education Agency that was carried out as part of Federal Target Program "Academic and teaching staff of innovative Russia in 2009-2013". VIHT signed a 3-year Federal contract. The program plan includes scientific research target funding.
